Tumbleweed Removal

A local council engaged Controltech Solutions to remove tumbleweeds from residential properties following days of strong winds across Melbourne.

PROJECT OUTCOME

​

• We successfully removed and transported over 600m3 of tumbleweed from 70 residential properties.

​

• We supplied 35 heavy vacuum trucks and over 70 operators over seven days.

• A large amount of the tumbleweed was trapped in the rear of the properties, so additional hose was required.

• The residents were pleased with the results, and the Council was happy all works were completed before Christmas break.
